How does Power Teeth Whitening work?
Our Cosmetic Dentist uses a light activated whitening system which stays on the teeth for approximately 60 minutes. It is a completely safe procedure which is available worldwide. We take great care to use products which do not harm the enamel or existing dental work.

What results can I expect after a single treatment?
Teeth become stained and darker with age making them dull and discolored. Our system will make the teeth whiter and lustrous by up to 8 shades in a single treatment.

How does Power Teeth Whitening differ from home whitening kits?
Home bleaching kits are much weaker than the system we use. With home kits the process often takes several weeks of nightly bleaching trays and the results are less effective. Our Cosmetic Dentist uses a powerful gel which is applied to the teeth. Once the gel is activated a light source accelerates the bleaching agent to start the whitening process. The gums and lips are protected during the procedure to prevent any tissue damage.

Are there any side effects?
In most cases the Patient can perform their normal day-to-day tasks immediately after the treatment. In some cases there may be a slight sensation of mild sensitivity.

How do I maintain my teeth after the treatment?
The new shades are best maintained by good home-care and regular visits to your Dentist or hygiene team. It is advisable to avoid smoking, red wine and foods such as curries for 24 hours immediately after the treatment. Our teeth whitening process can last up to 3 years with the correct oral hygiene.
